Whether you’re looking to enter the valeting and detailing industry, or you simply want to learn how to correctly care for your own vehicle, our training days offer real world, hands on experience inside a professional operation.

This is not a classroom course.

You’ll spend the day working alongside us, on real vehicles, proper equipment, and real processes, exactly how we operate day to day.

All training takes place either from our fully equipped mobile detailing van, or within our studio environment where applicable. You’ll see first hand how we achieve consistent, high level results in all conditions, all year round.

All training days incur a £100 deposit to book, with the remainder due at the start of the training day.

CONTROLLED MACHINE POLISHING

TWO DAY TRAINING
INVESTMENT £1195 + VAT

This option includes everything covered in Option B, with an additional full day dedicated to machine polishing using both dual action (DA) & rotary polishers.

 

Designed for those who want to move beyond valeting & into professional level defect removal, this is in depth, hands on training focused on correct technique, control & real world application.

 

You’ll start on a test panel to hone technique, then get to work directly on a real vehicle, learning how to safely assess paint, choose the correct tools and products & carry out defect reduction/removal with confidence.

 

You’ll learn:

  • Paint assessment & defect identification
  • Understanding clear coat behaviour & limitations
  • Pad & compound selection for different paint types
  • Safe & effective use of a dual action polisher
  • Safe & effective use of a rotary polisher
  • Correct machine handling, pressure, speed & arm movement
  • Managing edges, curves & sensitive areas
  • Reducing risk while maximising defect removal

  • RedmanValets reserves the right to pause or end training if safety standards are not met.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Training days involve standing, bending, lifting & repetitive motion.
  • Attendees must ensure they are physically capable of participating in a full working day.
  • Any existing injuries, medical conditions, or limitations must be disclosed prior to attendance.

 

No Certification or Qualification

  • This training does not provide certification, qualification, or formal accreditation.
  • The training is designed to share real world experience, professional methods, & practical understanding.

 

Liability Limitation

  • RedmanValets cannot accept responsibility for:
  • Personal injury resulting from failure to follow instruction
  • Damage caused by unauthorised or unsupervised actions
  • How techniques are applied by attendees after training

 

Attendance is at the participant’s own risk.

 

Right to Refuse or Withdraw Training

  • Behaviour is deemed reckless or disruptive
